Jerry Hopper Band Concert

Jerry Hopper grew up on country music and a “little bit of rock-in-roll”. He mastered the guitar at a young age, playing with his dad and other seasoned local musicians. While still a teenager, he played with Bob Carson and the Monkey Run Boys, a local band known as the Stingrays, and later formed the group Mighty Fines.

He recorded his first album in Nashville in 1983 and through the years has made four additional country and 3 gospel albums.

For many years Jerry entertained lovers of country music and dance at various venues. On July 4, 1986, he opened Hopper ‘s in Mountain Home where fans were able to country hits, new and old, learn to country two-step and line dances. Hoppers have been closed for several years, but Jerry stays busy playing for many local events and serving as pianist for his church.

This Theater is run by donations. From the Friday and Saturday shows to the Monday night shows. These musicians love to come and play at this venue, but we need the surrounding communities to show your support. The theater is non-profit. We are still need in some Volunteers to help with the concessions and with general things. So, if you are thinking about helping, please reach out by email or on the Facebook page.
We are also looking for sponsors for the Friday and Saturday night shows; we have forms in the theater or contact us and will email a form to you.

Did we tell you about this cost? It’s FREE we do pass the bucket at intermission to collect donations. We want people to come and listen to all types of music and to visit the musicians.
